Meet the Members:
Dr. Kerry Jordan-Daus
I believe in Tonbridge. I have lived in Vauxhall Ward for 24 years. I have raised my family, worked in education and am committed to building an inclusive community. I believe in advocating for all and ensuring all voices are heard.
Having spent all my professional life working in education, I know we need affordable childcare, affordable housing, and high quality support for our more vulnerable members of our communities.

Joy Lakin
I was born and grew up in Surrey where I worked at the local Count Court. Moved to Bedfordshire, had two children and have worked for, first Bedfordshire then Kent libraries for 20 years whilst being a family carer. Moved back south 18 months ago. Have been a Labour member since 2018 and what motivates me is the opportuity to help elect a government that can begin to close the wealth gap.
My other particular interests are climate change and the plight of family carers.

Matt Oliver
I am a proud Labour member and have been so for most of my adult life. Me and my wife moved to Tonbridge during the pandemic and fell in love with the town and wider area. Not long after, our son was born nearby in Pembury Hospital.
From construction to farming, and from defence to science, I have worked in communications for a variety of sectors. In all I have seen first hand how Tory mismanagement of key industries and public services has hollowed out the economy. Across the UK, this has made us poorer, more unequal, and more divided.
We finally have a Labour government that will turn this sorry state around. Not only to give my son and younger generations the opportunities they deserve, but to restore the public's trust in the ability of government to improve lives.
